The Department of Advanced Battery Convergence Engineering (General Graduate School) aims to foster master and PhD. convergence talent with the most challenging and creative R&D capabilities in the current and future industries to create advanced energy storage systems (ESSs) that combine artificial intelligence and intelligent semiconductors.

The core major of the Advanced Battery Convergence Engineering course consists of "ESS Intelligent Management/Control Convergence Major (S/W), Advanced Materials and Components for the Secondary Battery Convergence Major, and Intelligent Energy Semiconductor Convergence Major" which combines big data and artificial intelligence.

This curriculum is supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy / Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning as part of the Human Resources Program in Energy Technology. It is expected to contribute to the national secondary battery industry by playing a pivotal role in renewable energy and electric vehicles.

We also expect a lot of interest from challenging and progressive students and experts who want to study the high-tech intelligent energy field.
